Join us on the weekends for fun, hands-on activities in The Lab at Mobius Science Center.

Weekends in April • Tree Microscopy • What does a pine needle or pine wood look like under a microscope? Zoom in and take a closer look at the microscopic features of its structure in this hands-on biology lab!

Plug Into Neuroscience

April 27 - Saturday   11:00am to 2:00pm

Dr. Karatsoreos and his team from WSU Neuroscience, will be sharing exciting information about brains! What do brains look like in different kinds of animals? How do your brain cells talk to each other? How does your brain makes sense of the world (and can be fooled by illusions!)? A lively presentation with audience participation, as well as several brain exhibits designed and built by WSU Neuroscience undergrads will be available to interact with, including a “brain station” to see firsthand what brains look like in several different species.

Presentation Start Times: 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm.

Event is Free with Science Center Admission

Avista Presents MOBIUS FREE COMMUNITY DAY

May 18 - Saturday   10am - 5pm   Both Locations

Mobius Children’s Museum, 808 W Main Ave & Mobius Science Center, 331 N. Post St.

Join us for a full day of FREE family-friendly fun at Mobius Children’s Museum and Mobius Science Center.

Daily admission to both Mobius locations will be FREE from 10-5pm. Avista will have a crane truck, backhoe and exciting equipment demonstrations outside the science center at 331 N Post St from 10-3pm!

Due to capacity there may be a wait, but there will be fun things to do right outside the science center in the meantime!

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing at Mobius Science Center! Free with science center admission.
*This event will replace our normally scheduled July weekend lab experience.

Shark Day at the science center!

July 26 - Friday   11am, 1pm, & 3pm

Mobius Educators will be doing shark dissections at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm! From 10-3pm today you can compare sizes of common sharks, learn about endangered shark species, and more! Free with science center admission.
